Hmm...let me think about that

I went to the dentist this morning to get my third crown, and was handed the estimate to sign.  Normally a crown, after insurance, costs about 200 bucks.  This estimate was closer to $700.  The lady explained that my insurance had reached its limit for the year.  For...the...year.  Today is New Years Eve.  I smiled and said, "Do you think I could reschedule this appointment for...I don't know...any day after today, since my insurance will start over?"  She kindly obliged and I left.
