NOLA-isms

When meeting someone at a certain time: "Let's be there for noon." For, not at.

When trying to determine where someone is: "Where yat?"

And don't even get me started on the use of "y'all"...

Erin you left out two of my favorites....

    1. Making groceries, which means grocery shopping.

    2. When asked how old someone is, the response is "he made 3", instead of "turned"

I'm sure there's a bunch more I have just come so accustomed to after 8 years of living down here.
