I think I'll make this short and to the point.

Jim and I are pregnant. Married: June 1st. Conceived: June 20-somethingth.

No it wasn't planned.

Yes, we're getting excited.

My due date is March 17th. Fun, since I'm Irish and all...

There. It is now public knowledge.

You know what's really fun?
Driving to Ohio, literally running out of gas on the way, unloading the car from the trailer on a busy interstate in order to drive to GET gas for the truck, finally getting to the raceway at 2:30am, getting to sleep by 3am to the sound of pouring down rain, waking up cold several times and STILL hearing the rain, finally waking up at 9:30 am to the sound of STILL more rain, opening the door to see that the races have been cancelled, turning around and driving right back home, almost running out of gas AGAIN on the drive home, getting lost in the random farm-land of Ohio, finding a farm-boy with a gas tank in his yard (wow), getting some emergency gas to get us to a REAL gas station, realizing that we were closer to the actual gas station than random farm-boy, and filling up and driving home.

The best part? I really did have fun. It was an adventure. I loved (almost) every minute.

Hmm...a reason...
I'd love to write something witty right now, but I really don't have a reason to be blogging, other than the guilt of not having done so for so long. Let's see...I'm working full time and doing my photo business. That hasn't changed. Other than that, I totally haven't sent out all of my thank-yous for wedding stuff yet. If you are one of those wonderful people that bestowed a gift upon me and Jim, I promise you will be properly thanked soon!

We received a very sweet card from Danielle a couple days ago!! Thanks dear; it was so good to hear from you :) And I'm happy that Aimee sent you those photos. I've been lagging a bit behind on all that...ironically.

I've decided I need to make a cd compiling all the best "Fist-Songs". Fist-Songs, by my own definition, are those songs where at some point you feel the need to shake your fist in the air while singing or screaming the lyrics really loudly. There are hard-fist songs and soft-fist songs. Here are the songs I have so far for my hard-fist songs compilation:

"Alone" by Heart
"Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler
"Love of a Lifetime" by FireHouse
and I'm debating on "I would Do Anything For Love" by Meatloaf, but that might be more of a soft-fist song.
