Jim's employer "let him go" one week ago today. What does this mean?

-Jim's on a mad job-hunt. But it's going very well.
-We're moving. Don't know where. Don't know when.
-Gotta sell the house. Woot.

We're not upset at all. Actually, we're really excited. Life's an adventure. This is the next chapter for us. I'll update as things progress...

Anybody wanna buy a car?

I'm selling mine.  It's in great shape.  I've never had any problems with it.

Seriously.  Anyone?

On a WalMart run today, I had an...interesting experience.  I was unloading the stroller from the trunk, and in the space next to me, a mom was trying to load her two kids into her car.  She had put her baby in the car seat and turned to say something to her toddler, who was standing between her car and mine.  Next thing I knew, he was pissing between the cars.  And she was standing there assisting him in his efforts.  There was no laughing or embarrassment on her part, just quiet patience, waiting for him to finish.  As soon as he was done (I assume, because I heard the stream stop hitting the pavement), she put him in the car, got in, and drove off.

Of all the reasons I've gone to the car wash, toddler piss has never made the list...until now.

This could be addicting...
I had my first real pedicure today.  It was a Christmas gift from Jim.  I'm just getting around to using it.  I was put into a massaging chair and asked what beverage I wanted.  Then I was pampered for an hour.

It was niiiiiiice.

Crazy going slowly am I...

I've been very grumpy as of late.  I haven't yet figured out the reasons why, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know.  And I don't buy the whole post-pregnancy hormone thing.  That's just an excuse for the un-creative.

Two things I know for sure:
-I am 20 lbs heavier than pre-baby, and very unhappy about it.  I have no clothes that fit right.  They are either too loose or to tight.
-I hate doing wedding photography.  I really do not enjoy it.  I'm pretty sure I want to quit.  But I love doing photos for friends!  You guys don't count.  It's doing it as a business I dislike.

Well said.
My mom and I went to lunch with a couple friends the other day.  On the drive home, we got onto the subject of televangelists.  No idea how.  Anyway, she mentioned to me that she was watching t.v. the other day and saw Tammy Faye Baker.  As my mom put it, "She was saying that she just knew she was going straight to heaven.  She looked terrible from the cancer, and she was still wearing those horrible, huge fake eyelashes.  All I could think was, if she does make it to heaven, she's going to scare the hell out of Jesus."

Happy happy happy happy happy Anniversary!

My parents have been married 50 years today.  Isn't that amazing?!?  Congrats mama and daddy.  You guys are an amazing example of unwavering love and commitment.  I love you both so much and hope that Jim and I can learn from your example and celebrate the same milestone someday...
