*sigh*
OK, so after the ant-eating incident yesterday (note: my mother informed me that those were oat-bugs, not ants. I still don't want to eat them.) I attempted to have a productive day at work. I almost succeeded, if you don't count tripping twice, hitting my head on a basket, and stabbing myself in the stomach with an open pen. I also forgot I was working a few hours later in the day, so I had a long supper break that I decided to spend at Jim's house catching a little nap. That would have been successful if it weren't for my hyper boxer that decided to (about 5 seconds before I slipped into deep nappage) slam his 27-pound paw onto my exposed throat.

End of nap.

So I now have a mark on my throat that looks a lot like a hicky. Try explaining to your co-workers how you got a hicky-look-a-like from a boxer.

Aimee, can I have a chapter in your book?

A little protein never hurt anyone...
So this morning I decided to have a little breakfast before leaving for work. I went and got the cereal (Honey bunches of Oats), poured some into my bowl, poured some milk in, sat down at the table with my parents, and took a big bite. It was about two crunches into the chewing process that I looked down into my bowl. The following thought took place:

"Hmm. What are those little black spec--WTF?"

This thought was followed by me powerfully emptying my mouth of any and every morsel or speck of food.

That's right kids, my cereal was filled with ants.

OK, so it's been a while...
So updates...um...my birthday was very good. As you may have picked up from the comments on the previous post, my family got me the first five seasons of MacGyver on dvd. And yes, Liana, I still have a crush on Richard Dean Anderson. Actually, pretty much the MacGyver character. Sad but true...

So other than that, I think home-improvement is the theme for my life lately. Of both my parent's house and Jim's house. Jim and I painted his hallway and few other random areas this past week (we crammed it in before his parents came to visit for Easter). And today [so far] I have de-junked my parents' entertainment center, moved it to the garage for our upcoming garage sale along with a skinny bookshelf that was by it, filled up a whole garbage can with crap from the afore-mentioned pieces of furniture, and moved my entertainment center to the living room and put the [much smaller amount of] stuff in/on it. It looks SO much better, and my mom is pleased. I don't know where to put my stuff now, but maybe I'll just move it all to Jim's. He'll never know...[insert evil laugh here].

I also have almost 200 bucks worth of stuff to completely re-do the front bathroom. We're talking down to the doorknob. Ceramic tile and all. Room by room I'm going to make this place beautiful again. Just wait and see...

Ok, Nolynn needs this room to play his PS2 now, so I'm being booted out.

Oh, and Aimee, you're the only one who can make me smile by calling me a skank :)

Just in case you didn't know...
Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm turning 27.

In my mind, I will always be 22.
